What is a Cable stripper?
A cable stripper is a tool used to strip the insulation protective coating of a cable and expose the conductors inside. Also known as a wire stripper. Instead of cutting the wire completely like nippers, the cable stripper can cut only the outer insulating coating while leaving the wire, exposing the wire. There are several types of cable strippers, including those that remove the coating manually and those that automatically remove the coating by simply pinching it.
