What is a DIP switch?
DIP switches are small switches used on printed circuit boards. DIP switch is an abbreviation for dual in-line package switch. The distance between terminals is about 3mm, and the height is about 3mm. It is used as a setting switch and is used when the operation frequency is low. Operation methods include slide switches, push-lock switches, and rotary switches. There is also a type that is inserted into a hole in the board and a type that is mounted. Various types are available with different numbers of poles and sealing performance.
