What is a High side switch?

A High-Side Switch is a switching element used in electrical circuits to control a load (such as a motor, LED, etc.) connected to the positive side (Vcc) of the power supply. It is placed between the positive terminal of the power supply and the positive terminal of the load. When the switch is on, the load is connected to the power supply, and when off, the connection is interrupted. High-side switches are commonly used in systems that handle high voltages or currents.
