What is a Ion counter?
Ion measuring instrument is a general term for various ion measuring instruments. In general, an ion counter refers to a device that measures ions in the air, while an ion measuring device includes specialized devices such as an ion measuring device dedicated to minerals and a device that measures the ion concentration in an aqueous solution. However, as a general interpretation excluding specialized fields, ion counters and ion measuring instruments are almost synonymous, so please refer to the item of ion counters for ion counters, and in this item, for minerals other than ion counters and in aqueous solutions.
Application of Ion counter
The ore-only type is suitable for measuring the ion concentration around minerals containing radioactive substances. Stable measurement is possible because there is no influence of air flow and there is little variation between measurements. For mineral-only use, it is used when considering new building materials, etc., or when making mineral bracelets, etc., other than for research purposes. The ion concentration in an aqueous solution is used, for example, for the purpose of controlling the concentration of impurities discharged from drainage facilities, or as a measuring instrument when using materials containing ions in product development (for example, Ag +).
