Curve tracer / List of 5 manufacturers
What is a Curve tracer?
A curve tracer is a device for measuring the current-voltage characteristics of semiconductors and electronic devices. Measurement targets include resistors, diodes, transistors, and FETs. By applying a voltage to the measurement target, the characteristics are measured by measuring the current flowing through the measurement target at that time. Measuring the current-voltage characteristics of semiconductors and electronic devices requires time and effort such as continuously changing various voltages and graphing them, but using a curve tracer makes it relatively easy to withstand current and voltage. You can measure the characteristics.
Application of Curve tracer
Curve tracers are used when developing semiconductors and electronic devices, inspecting manufacturing, and checking the operation of devices that use semiconductors and electronic devices. If the current or voltage handled by the curve tracer is dangerous, such as when measuring at high voltage, care must be taken such as using a curve tracer for high voltage or setting and applying the correct voltage. Also, since there is a risk of burns and electric shock, care must be taken not to touch the part where the current is flowing directly.
