What is a 3D shape measuring machine?
An electrostatic measuring instrument (English: electrostatic instrument) is a device that measures static electricity generated by the charging of an object. It is a device equipped with a non-contact sensor, and measurement is possible simply by pointing the sensor at the target.
Devices that measure static electricity are formally called surface electrometers or electrostatic potential measuring instruments. The unit of measurement is expressed as V (volt). If the voltage is high, the charge is large and the static electricity is high. It is mainly used at the manufacturing site, and the form of the equipment differs depending on the application such as static electricity monitoring on the manufacturing line.
Application of 3D shape measuring machine

1. Line roughness measurement
Typical parameters such as Ra and Rz can be measured. A specific example is screw thread evaluation.
2. Surface roughness measurement

3. Plane measurement
