Diode array / List of 4 manufacturers
What is a Diode array?
A diode array is a photodetector that can detect the amount of light at multiple positions at the same time by arranging photodiodes, which are one type of photodetector, in an array. The wavelength of light that can be detected varies depending on the material used, and the most commonly used in the visible range is a diode array using silicon, which can detect from 190 nm to 1100 nm. There are diodes using germanium, indium, gallium, and arsenic, and diodes made of lead sulfide can detect up to the infrared region (~3500 nm). Multiple wavelengths can be measured simultaneously by arranging arrays along the wavelength axis.
