What is a Magnetic separator?

A magnetic separator (magnetic force sorter) is a device that uses magnets to remove metals such as iron contained in industrial waste and processed materials. Metals that can be removed by a magnetic separator include steel, stainless steel, and even light metals such as aluminum. In addition to these pure metals, it is also used to purify and recover magnetic heavy liquids in the processing of coal and ores that use magnetic heavy liquids such as magnetite and silicon iron. The size of metal particles that can be removed by a magnetic separator ranges from tens of millimeters to micrometer.

Magnetic separators are used in various industrial fields.
