DC voltage detector / List of 10 manufacturers
What is a DC voltage detector?
A DC voltage detector is one of the voltage detectors, and among them, it is a dedicated measuring instrument for measuring the voltage of a DC circuit. By contacting this DC voltage detector with the part you want to check, you can check whether electricity is flowing through it. Normally, AC voltage is often used in the circuit through which electricity is flowing, and a voltage detector dedicated to AC voltage is also common in voltage detectors.
However, some DC circuits such as train lines and electric cables may be used, and if a voltage detector that does not match is used, there is a risk of electric shock, so confirmation is required.
Application of DC voltage detector
The place where the DC voltage detector is used is the place where the voltage where the DC circuit is used is flowing. Speaking of familiar places, there are train lines and power plant cables. When performing electrical work, use a voltage detector to confirm that electricity is not flowing before starting work such as wiring work. The place where the voltage detector is used in this way is the place where current may be flowing. If you touch it with your bare hands unnecessarily, you may get an electric shock and it is dangerous. Therefore, if high voltage current is flowing, please be sure to wear protective equipment.
