What is a Guide pin?
A guide pin is a pin that is used as a guide for aligning the mold with the printed circuit board attached to the mold during trial cutting of the printed circuit board or cutting of the work. In general, a guide pin is attached to one side of the mold, and when the printed circuit board or workpiece is set in the mold, this guide pin serves to hold the position so that it does not shift. If there is no guide pin, the alignment position will be misaligned, making it difficult to process the desired substrate or workpiece that matches the mold. By the way, the number of guide pins attached to the mold or jig varies, such as 2 or 3. In addition, there are a wide variety of types such as position, material, and shape.
