What is a Grease trap?

A grease trap is a device that separates oil discharged from the kitchen of a restaurant. Not only oil but also leftover food and vegetable waste can be stored and separated.
Exhaust from the kitchen has a large amount of oil in the water, and if it is poured into the sewage as it is, it will cause clogging of the sewer pipe and a foul odor. If it gets worse, it can cause environmental pollution. Therefore, it is obligatory to install it in restaurants with commercial kitchens.
