Small signal diode / List of 4 manufacturers
What is a Small signal diode?
A small-signal diode is a diode that operates with a relatively small current of several hundred mA or less. It is used for rectification and switching, which converts alternating current to direct current, and generation of constant voltage. The most well-known application is demodulation. Demodulation is a radio wave that synthesizes a high-frequency carrier signal with a low-frequency audio signal and outputs it to an audio output device as an audio signal using the diode's characteristic of detecting only low-frequency signals.
