Prober / List of 7 manufacturers
What is a Prober?
The prober is a positioning device that connects the needle of the contact part of the measuring device to the correct position of the electrode of the semiconductor for the measurement of the semiconductor created in the previous process in the semiconductor manufacturing process. Since the electrode part of the semiconductor is very small, it is necessary to put the needle of the contact part of the inspection device in the correct position. Therefore, the prober is required to have very precise control for positioning.
Application of Prober
The usage of the prober is used when inspecting semiconductors. When used for research and development, when using a type that can measure with high accuracy such as noise removal and signal leakage prevention and can be measured as flexibly as possible for mass production. It is necessary to select appropriately from the types that can perform high-speed and quick processing. In order to confirm that the semiconductor to be measured operates correctly at high and low temperatures, the prober side is also required to be resistant to temperature. When used to measure semiconductors for power devices, high voltage, low impedance probers are required.
