Ignition coil / List of 4 manufacturers
What is a Ignition coil?
An ignition coil is a part of the ignition device attached to a gasoline engine, and is a transformer that obtains the high voltage required for spark plug discharge. In a gasoline engine, the gasoline in the combustion chamber is ignited and burned by the discharge of the spark plug. The ignition coil supplies high voltage electricity for the spark plug to discharge.
Application of Ignition coil
Ignition coils are used in automobile gasoline engines. Most of the current gasoline engines are reciprocating engines, a combination of 3 to 12 mechanisms that reciprocate pistons in cylinders to turn a single crankshaft, which is the output shaft of the engine. An ignition coil is installed for each cylinder along with a spark plug.
